Hayden Miller 
I'm an independent Art Director and Designer based in Berlin, originally from New York, with over 15 years of experience building brands from the ground up, across major corporations, agencies, and directly with entrepreneurs and startups. A lifelong creative with deep passions for music, art, entertainment, and pop culture, I've built my career at the intersection of creativity and technology.
My core practice is branding and identity: developing the visual language, systems, and strategy that give companies a distinct and lasting presence. Equally confident in the digital and physical realms, I've developed a strong eye for typography, color, and layout, and a ruthless attention to detail.
I studied graphic design at Purchase College in New York, before spending several years as a Senior Art Director at Universal Music / EMI Records, where I was credited on over 40 albums across sub-labels like Blue Note Records, Capitol, Virgin, and Astralwerks, working with artists including Gorillaz, Robert Glasper, Katy Perry, Jeff Bridges, and Bryan Ferry. That experience sharpened an instinct for visual storytelling that I've carried directly into my brand work, first at The Seventh Art, a SoHo agency specializing in luxury real estate and hospitality. There I oversaw 360° campaigns, designed three-dimensional spaces, and created large-scale signage for high-profile developments in New York and internationally.
More recently, as Creative Director and equity partner at RB26 California, I led the ground-up brand build for a lifestyle company, spanning identity, packaging, e-commerce, and a full apparel line, earning media attention and ultimately carrying it through to a successful acquisition in 2019. I then joined a Berlin-based music production startup working in the advertising space as the initial brand hire, where I built the brand and creative systems from scratch, streamlined technology workflows, established the company's web presence, and onboarded subsequent hires. Alongside these, I've taken on independent engagements across fintech, healthcare, and consumer brands.
I'm constantly working to sharpen existing skills, develop hands-on techniques, and apply modern software tools and technology in new and unexpected ways. It's a practice that keeps my work current, versatile, and uniquely my own, all with the objective of creating beautiful and engaging brand experiences.
